research
The Avian Biology Research Team has a strong focus on the behavioral ecology of Wrens (Troglodytidae).

We are currently studying Sedge Wrens (Cistothorus platensis) and House Wrens (Troglodytes aedon) in the Uspallata Valley (Mendoza, Argentina).

Our research implies intensive field work to obtain detailed observations of avian behavior.

Our projects usually combine experimental and observational approaches to evaluate the adaptive significance of current behavioral strategies.
