Academic Interests

Currently, my work is focused on evaluating the response of bird assemblages to different anthropic disturbances such as logging. My project takes place in the piedmont forest of the Argentinean Southern Yungas, in association with the Instituto de Ecorregiones Andinas (CCT CONICET Salta-Jujuy). I’m interested in generating guidelines for the sustainable management of natural resources for the conservation of biodiversity. In addition, I’m pursuing a specialization in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), in order to acquire new tools for analyzing the effects of anthropogenic disturbances on bird assemblages at different spatial and temporal scales.
